HP 2009M 20 Inch LCD Monitor with 1600X900 Resolution and Built-In Speakers Review

I have reviewed many other monitors of the same size and this one is the best in its class and price range. The automatic setup is great and my computer had no trouble recognizing digital or analog connections or the monitor. Yes, both connecting cables were included! About a month ago I bought a 20" HD 2009M LCD monitor. I am very happy with it. It was very easy to connect and the color and transparency are amazing. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone looking to replace theirs I had the gateway monitor that came with my gateway pc however the monitor stopped working after 3.5 years it kept turning on and off and it really annoyed me its so nice to have a brand new one again Monitor thanks to Hewlett Packard.Barb.Phoenix, AZ

I really like this monitor, the picture is sharp and clear, there are no dead pixels. The only thing this monitor lacks are good speakers, but then again there are very few flat screens with good speakers so I can't fault this monitor. You can't ask for a better display in this price range!

Very good quality but two major drawbacks: 1) No HDMI input2) 720p resolution, not Full HD 1080p. If you don't care about those two issues, it's a good deal. Also, I don't use speakers, I have external ones, so I can't comment on the quality of the monitor's speakers.

I have had many monitors over the past 25 years of working with computers and the color, clarity and clarity on this monitor is amazing. The last monitor that looked this good on me was in 1997 and it was a 21 inch Sony CRT (out of production and weighed 105 pounds!). I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone.

I bought this monitor with a new computer. I had a decent flat screen but opted for a bigger one. This monitor has a very sharp image and excellent color reproduction. The only thing I would probably change is that the built-in speakers aren't as loud as some might like, but I can live with that. Very good monitor for the price!

I ordered 4 of these monitors to upgrade my customer service department from a 17 inch monitor. Direct feedback from users was positive, they like the size and clarity of the picture. This monitor is great for the price and set up was very easy. It's nothing fancy, but it has a great picture, and I don't do anything fancy on my computer that would require a high-end monitor. The size is great for watching DVDs or videos on the web, although it can be a bit awkward when browsing the web. I have separate speakers, so I couldn't hear any sound from the monitor's speakers. I finally replaced my CRT monitor with this widescreen LCD monitor. I was VERY pleased with the ease of setup. I originally preferred the Dell monitor for my new (Late 2009) Mac Mini. However, it disappeared from sale, so I found HP 2009m. I couldn't be happier. The display is nice and bright.
