The picture quality was top notch. And the monitor itself was in near-perfect condition. However, for some odd reason, the screen window was shifted slightly to the left, obscuring the left-most buttons. I just have to click them from memory. Resizing or dragging the screen doesn't help.

Okay so I ordered this monitor as part of a 'proposed' bundle with a new PC. New offer. Try the monitor before buying the suggested speakers. I wouldn't buy speakers if I saw somewhere that the monitor has speakers built in. Aside from that poor description of Revane, so far so good. My brother was looking for an inexpensive flat screen for me to replace the huge one I had on my desk at home. This monitor took up less space on my desk. But best of all, the screen is pristine! I had annoying vertical lines on my 17" iMac so I needed a new monitor. I had to order an adapter from Apple but this monitor was reasonably priced and I was very happy with the end result. The recommended resolution didn't fill the entire screen , so with a little experimentation I found a resolution that looks good and fills the entire screen, and it met my expectations.

The product description of the HP 2009M is somewhat misleading. Briteview technology doesn't really "reduce glare" at all. First of all, this is a must have for those who are on a budget and looking for a monitor. The sound quality from the speakers isn't great, but the resolution is excellent. very bright and shows a really nice color. I've loved this monitor since I saw it in the box. Widescreen, HD, great picture, unbeatable for the price. I didn't use speakers, but who actually uses the speakers that come with the monitor? I mean it has speakers if you're one of those people I guess. Another reason to get one is if you want to upgrade your monitor. I don't know how I lived without it before I got it.

HP is a quality product. It goes well with my HP computer. plug and play I like that the flat panel is much farther from my eyes than the CRT screen we had. It has a much better definition. I am amazed at the quality of the pictures. Not too happy with the aperture ratio (it's too big for the height). However, I've found that I can remove things I don't want to see to the right to the side. Great price, good quality, no problem.

Great monitor for the price, perfect for my desktop. As already mentioned, the built-in speakers are not of the best quality, but they are quite suitable for listening to music while working or playing a computer game. I haven't seen any of the films yet, but I'm sure I could do it without too much trouble. The only way to get a measurement of 20 inches is diagonally. Otherwise it is pure marketing fraud! You have to look straight at the screen or there's a lot of glare. If I hadn't received the gift certificate and it was free and tax free, it would have been in a box on the way back to Revain.
