I bought these scissors to cut sheet metal from brass. Messier. The oval on the left was cut with a left hand knife cut - nice and smooth. I had to alternate left and right scissors to cut 1" diameter circles. I'm sure this will improve with practice. They're nice and strong, but big and heavy, so keep that in mind if you have small hands.

I didn't want to pay for a new grill pan after my old one got rusty. Decided to take the galvanized steel ducts I had in my barn and repurpose them. These sturdy scissors have completed the task of crafting 2 new Air Duct Grill Pans. I had 1 small blister on my hand afterwards but it was my fault for not wearing gloves. Please wear gloves as the metal to be cut is sharp! I love these things and will continue to use them!

Holes in medium gauge HVAC sheet metal. They cut beautifully, very smoothly and precisely, but remember that the accuracy you achieve with this or any other pair of scissors is highly dependent on your technique and skill level. The overall build quality is quite good and the cutting edges are precise and sharp. Time will tell how they hold up, but I have no reason to believe they won't last long with proper care. A good tool at a very good price. Solid 5 stars.
