Don't buy this - replacement parts

failed in less than a week. I signed up to start a refund and it was 1 day after the refund window closed! Boy they got the timing right.

Perfect fit for my 04 Explorer XLT v6!

Used on my 2004 Ford Explorer XLT v6 4.0L. It's been a week now and so far so good! Would recommend, it was $60 cheaper than AutoZone.

Check engine light came on immediately

I bought these based on the great price and good reviews but after installing it my check engine light came on immediately and the fault code indicated it was the ignition coil; Next time I will definitely choose Ford Motorcraft.

My nephew says it works like a charm

I bought this for my nephew's truck. He had no problem taking the old one out and installing the new one. My nephew says it works like a charm. He is really happy and grateful for this role. Yes, if I had to buy another one I wouldn't hesitate for a second to do so.

Misfires and gives a code, do not buy

Rubbish, it's a pity I didn't read the reviews before buying. Bought to set up with new wiring and spark plugs. Immediately began to fade. It seems to work fine when the engine is warm, but on a cold start it dies and won't start. Put the old one back in and it's good. You get what you pay for. 99 Explorer 4.0

Just a small minus

After reading some of the reviews I thought these comments might be helpful to some; I'll be brief. 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0L cranked but would not start. After checking that the fuel system/filter/pump/injectors were working, I found that the ignition circuit was not sparking on all cylinders. Looking at the schematics in the Haynes manual and online, I've narrowed down the problem to the coil pack (CP, the element), the crankshaft position sensor (CPS), and the engine control unit (ECU).
