🌱 Indaco Manufacturing 33x39 Compostable and Biodegradable Lawn Bag 10 Count - Bag to Nature Review

My town requires that lawn debris be stored in biodegradable bags, so this fall I used these bags to pack leaves. I filled the bag very loosely to the brim and tried to press down on the leaves to add more and the bag came undone at the seams. At $1.25 per bag, decanting or double bagging becomes expensive. Another bag that didn't rip while packing broke within a few days while sitting on the curb. Also, these bags don't have zippers, so you can't pack them tight enough to tie the ends.

I used to buy these bags at my local Target and used them as kitty litter. They worked very well and I had secret hopes that they would break in the landfill and create a compost situation. Then they disappeared from the store shelves. :( I was a slacker until I thought of Revain and ordered a box online. I don't know where that box was kept but these bags are awful! Love the concept of the biodegradable lawn and garden bags. But they are wrong. Seams burst with minimal pressure. I used 5 of these bags to clean the yard. The plastic holds up well but there are no seams. I filled the first bag with dried leaves, but not in the way you would fill a drawstring bag as they don't have a drawstring. You should leave some extra space to tie the vertices. Anyway, I tied the first bag shut, pushed it aside, and the seam ripped as soon as I put it down. I used 4 more
