Great network cards

I recently installed this chip in my Crosshair VI Hero after a thunderstorm destroyed my ethernet port. While it works great. I was a little worried at first as Windows 10 didn't have default drivers for it and it wasn't showing up properly, but I connected my phone to the PC, got the drivers and no problems since. My area doesn't even have decent broadband, but local transmissions are fast for WiFi. I've only used Bluetooth a few times, but there weren't any problems either. It was quiteโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Too long to wait

We have several HP 15-ba079dx laptops that are used by kids and HP installed horrible old Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi adapters in them, so everything kept their slow connection Frequency 2.4 MHz interfered when we have high-speed fiber optic connection. So it was annoying. A month ago I tried installing one of these in one and it didn't work on Windows 10, but yesterday I tried again and it worked. It looks like Intel fixed the driver and is now working with the system. I recommendโ€ฆ

Antenna colors have been swapped! Great product and price

Based on previous 1 star reviews I was more careful when installing. Because of the low price I thought, WTH, I'll try it out. Glad you did! Watch the installation video on this page U. Very important note: On my Dell 7559 laptop, the top wire of the antenna was white and the bottom wire was black. Labeled AUX and MAIN. This card still has AUX and MAIN, but the letters are so small you can't read them without magnification, and the ARROW COLORS ARE ROTATED. If you connect white to white andโ€ฆ

Fixed faulty network card in Dell XPS 13 9360

I finally found a network card that works in a Dell XPS 13 9360. The Dell came with a Qualcomm 802.11AC "Killer" card and it never worked. I bought a Dell last August and never noticed a problem because I plugged an ethernet cable into my laptop which is next to my router. However, I recently took my laptop on a trip and found that the Qualcomm card doesn't work at all. It couldn't pick up WiFi signals in hotels and other places, and couldn't hold the signal for more than a minute or two. Theโ€ฆ

Great when it worked

I was trying to replace an old Wi-Fi card in my Alienware 17 R3 laptop with an Intel AC-9260. I had to uninstall all the old wireless and bluetooth drivers, remove the old hardware, do a network reset, etc. I then installed the card and drivers and the new AC-9260 worked great. As soon as I turned off the laptop, the card stopped working when I turned it back on. I've gone through all the steps of uninstall, network reset, and reinstall multiple times, but after the initial setup it stoppedโ€ฆ

Reliable as expected from Intel

At first I had a Killer Wifi 1535 in my Dell XPS 15 (9570) and it was awful. When booting the computer for the first time, the connection always lasted a good minute. Once connected, it tended to lose signal despite being literally within range of the router. Also, the connection speed varies greatly. Sometimes it was fast and sometimes blatantly slow; You just never knew what you were going to get in terms of consistency (download/upload speed and stability). On the other hand, this Intel card

  • Finally bought it
