I was trying to replace an old Wi-Fi card in my Alienware 17 R3 laptop with an Intel AC-9260. I had to uninstall all the old wireless and bluetooth drivers, remove the old hardware, do a network reset, etc. I then installed the card and drivers and the new AC-9260 worked great.
