Intertape 530 Utility-Grade Flatback Packaging Tape is a pressure-sensitive, moisture resistantKraft flatback tape coated with an aggressive blend natural/synthetic rubber adhesive designed to offer a positive, attractive seal and excellent adhesion to minimize carton sealing failures and prevent pilferage. Performs well under a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions. IPG 530 (previously called Anchor 530) is designed for use in applications where reduced weight can provide packaging material savings. Complies with Postal Regulation for Uninsured Packages. Application uses include carton sealing, packaging, silk screening, picture framing, beaming/leasing, splicing, and tabbing. Product is not repulpable.Carrier/Backing: kraft, flatback paper. Adhesive: natural/synthetic rubber. Thickness: 7.2 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 60 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 45 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Elongation: 8%. Core: 3-inch diameter.

Excellent tape! in packing tape

We love this tape! Our daughter gave it to us when we moved a few years ago. Recently ran out and backordered. That's incredible. It is very strong but easy to tear to desired length. Much easier to use and thicker than the plastic stuff you love to wrap yourself in! Worth the price!

Superb Packing Tape - Packing Material

This is a Superb Packing Tape. We recently used it for our moving boxes and it has held up well. We have also used it to repair the paper cover on the back of some of our framed works. This can be a temporary fix, but it's a lot cheaper and more convenient than carrying around large artworks to fix from the back due to a small tear in the paper.

The thing is so sticky that it hurts your fingers a little when you tear it off.

eg It won't bother you at first because this tape is amazing. Everything it touches sticks. There is no margin for error, so be very precise in your starting position. After reapplying for a long time, I noticed that my skin became warm and supple. Next thing you know, I'm looking down as I pull away from another teardrop on my arm, my skin was like fucking Mister Fantastic. I would have filmed this oddity but I was afraid to touch the phone in any way until I poured turpentine on my hands…
