I think the product is ok. The specific part just didn't work after the first two switches. After that I only got beeps. They returned. and expect a refund etc. There will probably be another solution.

will not work with modern keyboards or mice. Basically it just needs to be used to toggle the monitor and even that isn't very good as it never puts the monitor to sleep.

I don't use a wireless mouse and keyboard at home, so I'm not complaining. It works great with USB keyboard and USB mouse. I recently bought one of these but was deeply disappointed. It may be defective and I will try to send it back for a replacement. Here's what didn't work: The old oxymoron error message "Keyboard not found, press F1" popped up when booting the system. This problem did not occur when the keyboard was connected directly to the computer's USB port.
