I drilled 1260 holes in 5/8 inch rebar with these drills as well as a few other cobalt drills. calloused hands and an aching forearm. Just a couple broken.
but I use 1/8 bit A LOT. Almost all #10 and #8 screws have a 1/8 bit as standard. so I also break a lot of 1/8 bits. This set doesn't really seem to break compared to the normal one, but I still have 8 extras when I drop the drill down the stairs again.

Irwin has always served me well. Why package 12? This is the most common size of pre-drill screw I use, but often I need to drill through metal and this is perfect for pre-drilling, ready for the next size drill bit. They replace all the cheap bits I've gotten over the years. I rarely come across boring beats. Also sold at local hardware stores and can be easily returned to the store for replacement. Now if you break bit by bit or have trouble with them dulling on the metal when you putβ¦
