DO NOT BUY_this is not silk, this is polyester

that the manufacturer lied and said it was silk, it wasn't, my dry cleaner did a burn test and the inside edge melted - I thought something was wrong from the start but didn't want to believe that AMAZON was there would allow, but they did. I've spent a lot of money on these pillowcases and they are clearly not silk or even silk, they can be washed in hot water and tumble dried and come straight out of the washing machine smooth and wrinkle free, which is not a sign of silk either. I did some tests. It is a fake. This is polyester. No silk!

WRONG! Totally fake! It's not silk at all. This is polyester. The packaging, the labels, the Okeo-Tek certifications that this product is 100% silk are all fake. I took a loose strand and lit it. Melts like polyester. Synthetic smells like plastic. Didn't burn or smell like hair like real silk. I also have real silk sheets. It's a completely different look and texture. I was just going to add some extra pillowcases to my silk sheet set but no. Do not buy. It is a fake! Do not do business or buy

It's Silk-ISH at its best

If you're reading this you think you've stumbled across a lot. Well it depends on what your priority is. I liked these at first glance. I would give 5 stars for the color alone. Very beautiful dusty pink color. Feminine but not girly. However, the feeling was a bit off for me. I've compared it to my 100% Westelm silk pillow (so you know it's real silk). I struggle with oily skin and acne and have had a lot of breakouts on my face and neck lately. I didn't realize it was from my pillowcases!
