These are quality shoes for the money. They are really dark blue and my child has not had any complaints. They don't look cheap, which is what bothered me considering the price. All in all just great, simple, no-frills dress shoes for boys.

Soft leather shoes and my son found them very comfortable from the start. There was no break-in period. However, after a few weeks of wearing, the skin on the front seems to be peeling off. My son doesn't like his shoes but I was expecting a little more durability.
