I love being able to point the fan straight up so I can place the Riko joystick on it. Riko sticks are notorious for overheating, which can be detected by simply touching them after 15 minutes of use. It's getting hot. If this happens and the ambient temperature is above 80°F, it will be disconnected from the mains. The other 3 models I crashed had trouble starting and didn't hit 30 speeds either. Trying to change the angle of the fan it staggered backwards. The base is clearly too little weight. But I liked it so much that I didn't send it back but found a solution. I took some metal discs and glued them to the base as ballast. Now it doesn't tip over and is quieter.
