I don't know what happened but these filters smell strongly of flower cleaning solution. Very unpleasant and you don't want your coffee to be filtered. My previous deliveries did not have this problem. We strongly recommend that you buy them from another seller.

About a year ago my daughter gave me a Kalita filter. The filter only works with Kalita filters which are expensive and take time to ship. And they're an inch or two shorter than the filter, which a) increases the time it takes to brew a cup of coffee and b) increases the risk of over-filling and getting grounds into your coffee. I replaced it with Melita which works much better and the filters are available at the grocery store.

These filters are designed for 1-2 people and are the size of the Kalita Wave coffee maker that I use to make coffee every day. My local coffee shop sells a pack of 100 for $10 in a plastic bag, but they come in a box so they're a bit more expensive. I usually buy those by the bag and just pop them in a disposable container of the same size, the 8 ounce round plastic bottles that you get to go work really well.
