Works great, less is more

Definitely helped my corals grow! I would say with careful use algae growth has become a problem that I have not had before.

Pros

Cons
  • Lots of Stuff

Ideal for reef tanks

Every time I add this iodine to my reef tank my shrimp shed their skin for days. So the shrimp love it. I know corals and anemones need it too. Whatever the instructions say, I use half. Iodine occurs naturally in many fish feeds, water changes, etc.

Pros
  • Aquarium water treatment
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Not just for marine aquarists

This product was recommended to me by an aquarist who raises freshwater shrimp as a hobby. The water I use for my aquariums is very soft and my snails and shrimp will die despite my best efforts to add calcium to the water. I use one drop of this product for every 10 gallons of water on a water change. Snails and shrimp are now thriving! I can't describe its use for saltwater aquariums, but it works great for my aquariums.
