Bought 6 packs in the vacuum cleaner market. These are not genuine Kirby parts. They don't have Kirby's insignia on them. Also, they don't have the right item numbers. Compared to the factory Kirby, the internal hatch pattern is different. Kirby has sharp peaks while the wrong ones are smoothed out.

My first Kirby lasted over 25 years and when my husband brought it in for repairs they persuaded him to buy a new Kirby. This one is over 20 years old and apart from the belt change I have had no problems with my machines. I've tried other brands of belts before but they just don't last as long.
