My son had a knee injury and was recently cleared to walk by his therapist. He has used it several times and recently used it in a 5k race where he finished second. He's 12 years old but small, about the size of a 9 or 10 year old, but had no trouble adjusting. He said he felt fine and was properly supporting his knee.

My 7 year old complained of knee pain when playing trampoline and football. The stop at the pharmacy was unsuccessful. It fits a skinnier 7-year-old in the smallest configuration. If I have one complaint, the ring around the patella could be a little more defined. Also, the fabric rolls up a bit more than expected. But for the money it's quite good.
