I installed the pressure gauge with a multi-pin plug. This makes under the dash much tidier and more professional. An added benefit is easy removal or relocation if necessary. We have not had a fuel gauge in 6 years of owning the boat. No problem as the tank is visible by flipping up the folding seat. However, the KUS sensor makes it a lot more comfortable - and brightens up our console.

This is a good replacement for the faulty sensor on my 19 year old Chaparral. Although the appearance does not match other parameters, it does not bother me. Driving a fuel powered boat without knowledge of the fuel supply is a royal pain. Accuracy is based on experience after running a few bottles of gasoline. Very happy with this sensor. The backlight is very good, not too bright and not dark. Fit and build quality as expected. The needle was smooth and superior to the original version in the boat. The only thing that bothers me is the choice of wire color, for example black was signal wire not ground, orange wire was for red light and blue was ground which was confusing.
