Multi Plug Outlets with USB Charger: 8 surge protected outlets can power AC appliances such as TV, speaker, lamp and other devieces. The 4 extra USB slots are a great solution. It's so convenient for charging all those handheld devices like phones and tablets. Nice Space between Outlets: the vertical design saves space and distributes vertically in four sides of power strip,so it's easy to find an open receptical that won't interfere with those already plugged in and being used. There is 0.8 inch space between each cube plug (1.6 x 1.6in) which makes room for the large awkward chargers that come with electronics better than a flat strip. Individual On/Off Switch: there are a total of 2 ON/OFF power buttons on the top of the tower. You can turn off the certain outlets that are not being used to conserve power without unplugging or turning off everything. One switch to control the 4 standard plugs on the one side and 4 usb ports, the other one to control the rest of 4 plugs. 6.5ft Power Extension Cord: the power strip surge protector comes with 6.5ft long extension cord which can connect the appliance that far away from the power source and makes your desk neat and organized. great for the family command center

need a surge protector with 1) more outlets, 2) more USB ports, and 3) easy to wall mount for our family command center - you know, the place that stationary telephone is connected, next to it a fragrant heater, as well as all the devices that the family needs for charging. it fits the bill. light but not cheap. Only criticism, if there must be one, is that the adhesive disc that came with the surge protector lasted 3 days. Solution? Command strips for hanging pictures. the task is solved.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • some bugs

Good product, great space saver and cable management

Upgrade. I've had the tower for a few months now and I've tested many elements in it. The plugs are too big to keep everything plugged in. This is not only annoying, but can also be a fire hazard. I love this tower. It saves space and has multiple functions. I like the four USB ports for charging, the surge protection, and you have the option to turn on each half of the ports and the base to save power.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great for conference room in the office

This extension can be very useful in the conference room in the office. I work for a small startup and we often meet in the conference room. The table in the conference room only has 4 outlets because everyone today needs more than 1 outlet due to their phones and laptops. This extension socket is very practical as it has 8 additional sockets and 4 USB sockets. People no longer need to plug their cell phone and laptop chargers into the wall, which can avoid some safety issues (someone stepping…

Only criticism, if there must be one, is that the adhesive disc that came with the surge protector lasted 3 days. Solution? Command strips for hanging pictures. the task is solved.

Power strips best meet my needs

With every new electronic device I seem to need a new power strip. We no longer have the same charging plugs. Some are square, some are rectangular, and some are side-joined. I like the configuration of this extension. This leaves enough room on the sides for most of my chargers. The only drawback is the charger plugged into the side. For this I need a different kind of strip. However, three USB ports help save space, which is why I chose this particular product. I started using it yesterday…
