Easy Sharpening System

This system makes sharpening very easy. In just a few hours I was able to get all my kitchen knives razor sharp. The only issue I had was that the metal rods snap into the body so tightly that they are difficult to remove without flexing. I'm also confused as to why they stock the oil with a diamond trim when the instructions say not to use oil with diamonds. For best results, I also recommend purchasing a polishing grinder. I don't recommend Lansky's universal mount which has too much movement

Pros
  • Three (3) guide rods
Cons
  • Not sure

With the necessary rework and a delay of 2 days, he finally put on an accurate cutting edge for all of our kitchen blades without serrations. however the knife clip was so cheap it is horribly bad (the rubber sponge glue came loose on both sides of the 2nd knife). also this soft aluminum clip hardly holds knives in the best place while a rough sharpening is used to leave a dull and worn edge I am disappointed to see such a price drop regardless of an otherwise excellent product.Less than $2 per

Cheap plastic! for mechanical and hand tools

Stones are glued to plastic case with cheap glue. I lost 2 out of 4 and had to re-glue them. This in itself is a minor thing and worth deducting just one star. The real killer of the stars is how the guide bars are attached to the rocks. The plastic has a set screw that screws into the brass fitting. Well, the set screws are constantly being unscrewed and loosened. This forces you to continually tighten the thumbscrews. After you've done this about 20 times, one of two things will happen: 1…

Pros
  • Three (3) sharpening blades with notches for fingers
Cons
  • Damaged
