I bought this toy without realizing it was 3+ so my son who is now 17 months had a rough time initially and basically towed the car but within a week or so he figured out all the activities and it became his favorite toy. He spends so much time playing with it and has learned all the forms which is very impressive. I am sure that he will play with it for a long time too, so I am very happy with this purchase!

This shape sorter is my child's favorite toy! My 20 month old and 4 year old love it. My 20 month old is learning her shapes and colors and it's a "Chu Choo Train" with a rope pulling her. This is a multifunctional toy, educational, which develops eye-hand coordination, fine motor skills and a train on wheels. She also learns to count with him. Excellent quality wood. Both of my kids fight for it, so it will definitely be used for a few years.

I bought this for my 6 month old and it's amazing to see him putting the pieces of the puzzle together and trying to put them on the pins provided. I often have to help him, but I think he will get it soon. He is amazed to see how this toy moves like a machine when you pull the string. He doesn't yet know how to insert the blocks into the holes provided, but he watches curiously as I insert them and the block "disappears".
