Pull out the old ones with a small slotted screwdriver, put in the new ones and it was that easy. They come pre-filled with power tool lubricant. They are bright enough that any reviews that say otherwise should compare them to the sun because mine is perfect. Much better than lightbulbs.

Very bright and cheaper than most. However, on one of them, about 50% of the LEDs stopped working after 2 weeks. All others work great. Update, out of the 10 I bought about half either stopped working or over 50% of the LEDs stopped working with the lights on. They're cheap and bright, but they don't last long. I feel like I might as well give those two, three, or five stars. Would you like the pigtail connections to be slightly more secure rubber flanges? Are they waterproof or is that important? Not exactly what I expected in my time 45 years ago so time will tell. They shine and will be much better than the ones I've replaced which were prone to damage.

I have reconditioned my boat trailer lights and they are an exact replacement for the ones I had. The old headlights popped right out, these popped right out with no need to change the grommets and the headlights came with a piece of tape over the bushing that kept the grease perfectly around the connectors. Build and quality seems great. I love how they continue to work, I think having a better view of the corners of your trailer in the mirror at night is a great idea. Unfortunately I made a mistake, my trailer actually uses 2.5" lights so I couldn't install and use them. I can't seem to find the same design in a 2.5" headlight, but I'll keep looking.

Error loading media. These lights are bright. Easy to install and an attractive addition. Since they were built into a cargo trailer I had to buy a 2 5/8 hole saw to drill the holes. I used these lights as upgraded side markers on my pickup truck. I was very impressed with how bright they are compared to the old incandescent bulbs I used. Installation was very easy and the gasket seems to hold the light in place (I'll update if that's an issue). The brightness is fantastic and I love that these headlights stick out a bit.
