Not very bright / HRD not very good. But for the price I can't complain. There were no dead pixels. The speakers don't work, not that it matters much, because who cares about monitors with built-in speakers, but still. Kinda gives a bad impression.

Worked great for a month and then the bottom half of the screen suddenly turned into intermittent white stripes during normal use. Sent back to LG for repair which took about 4 weeks in total. The repaired screen has a dead pixel, but I don't feel like repairing it again. On a 1440p screen, it's small enough to be negligible. All in all, I will choose another brand in the future.

I looked at two different monitors and finally settled on this LG Ultra Gear monitor. I have to say that I am very impressed with this monitor after a very old monitor (with both VGA and DVI). This is a bargain, I bought it on sale for $346.99. The brightness is higher than I expected and the menu is very simple.
