Every aspect of this monitor is good except for the color profile and HDR, they are complete rubbish. HDR looks so awful on this monitor that it was annoying to have to make some halfway decent adjustments to get the picture looking good, but this monitor just wasn't capable of it.

I convinced my wife that I need it for video editing. It turns out to work very well with Adobe projects. I want to see most of the timeline in Premiere without the constant scrolling and zooming.

I do not recommend this monitor for productivity along with newer m1/m2 Macs. Text clarity is pretty bad. The Mac has abandoned sub-pixel rendering strategies and focused entirely on Retina display scaling (220ppi), leaving fonts very sharp on high-PPI displays (which they sell for high prices) and quite fuzzy otherwise. Perhaps a 27-32 inch 4k display has a high enough PPI to be acceptable, but this display is not suitable.

I wanted to upgrade from dual monitors to an ultra wide monitor. When you switch places in macOS with two monitors, only one monitor changes and I prefer to swap everything at once - it helps me stay organized. I love this monitor. It's the perfect size, big but not too big. That is very clear. I was concerned because some people said it wasn't as clear as a MacBook Pro. However, I see no difference in the readability of the text. I have 3440x1440. This resolution is great for multitasking. I use this with my 2017 15" MacBook Pro. It's just one cable to display and charge your laptop. I highly recommend this monitor. I think it's worth the price.
