Used for lubricating cars with grease plugs, chainsaw tips, or any other grease plugs or ports that do not have Zerk fittings. The grease fitting in the back of the adapter easily locks into your LockNLube grease coupler so you can quickly attach this adapter when needed.

useless out of the box

When I opened the box, the black rubber tip had a tear on the side. All of the grease will come out of the port and not get into the fitting, rendering it useless. DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY.

A complete bummer

Put the grease adapter on the grease gun and try to lubricate the chainsaw bar. If you still want to buy this adapter, just throw the money in the bin and get the same results without getting spattered in grease.

Cracked rubber tip on first use

I liked the LockNLube oil lining so I decided to give this thing a try to fit a set of Speedplay pedals that inexplicably don't have an oiler although they do need regular lubrication . Unfortunately, even with moderate pressure, the thing leaked and the lube couldn't get into the pedals. I recommend looking elsewhere if you need to smear the wrong widget.

Perfect for my use, the old Zerk was ripped out and not easy to replace. It worked.

It all started trying to grease a hard to reach spot, the Zerk wouldn't move off the grease gun fitting so it ended up getting stuck (and still is) in the grease gun fitting and ruining the threads. The tip fits perfectly into the hole and creates a seal. I unscrewed the Zerk and put the tip on the grease gun hose as it was too "wobbly" out of the box. It was the perfect tool for the job!

Is working! suitable for tools and equipment

I bought a lock and grease adapter to lubricate my bike's swingarm. The swingarm didn’t have a standard grease fitting or nipple to attach a grease gun to. I ventured this cone shaped rubber grommet adapter was what I needed. It worked great. I was able to pump grease into my bike's swingarm and saw some grease squeezing out of the bearings. Ideal.
