Weak magnet won't hold.

The magnet is not strong enough for the grease gun, it just slides over my metal cupboard. Everything else in the block is fine.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great idea but terrible results.

All previous reviews about a weak and inefficient magnet are correct. Screw mounting is almost always the best solution.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not Worth It - Garage & Shop

I bought these to keep my new aluminum grease gun on the side of my toolbox. It just slid off the edge of the box, the magnet wasn't strong enough to hold the new light pistol. I want to use it on my old heavy shotgun.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Minor Issues

Weak magnet - tools and equipment

Weak magnet, when the oiler is full, the holder does not stay in place. I have this on my tool box at work. *This may be due to the thin metal of my toolbox, but I don't think it should matter if the magnet was strong enough**

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

NO STRETCH - magnetic attraction only 2-3 pounds

Magnet is 1/8 (bottom) from mounting lug. Even if it were a 1000lb magnet, which it isn't. If it's that far from the metal, it will be WEAK. This causes a lot of movement and therefore scratches Greta. This will not hold a full grease gun in place.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • So-so

Will not fit a full grease gun

Plain and simple. The magnet is not strong enough to hold the grease gun with a new tube of grease. I tried attaching it directly to the steel cabinet door and it just fell off. keep in mind. You make one that's just a clip, take it, and get your own magnet. or. just screw it tight. this will work better. I ended up drilling out a large rivet holding these rivets together and used a short 3/8 screw to attach it to a jamb on the inside of my closet door.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
