Restore an old floor lamp with these LED strips. Great product, very inexpensive.

I found an old broken halogen floor lamp in the lobby. Since I needed a lamp, I grabbed one. Of course it was broken, and halogen is definitely a fire hazard. First I tried soldering it the usual way, bought some Leviton sockets, LED bulbs etc. But the bowl was flat. Nothing would fit that didn't visibly protrude over the edge of the bowl. Lighting settings change unintentionally.

Bought two of these LED light kits to hang over our kitchen cabinets, center out. While the lighting effect is nice, one of the strings changes mood on its own. It will work for several hours, then let's see and it will either dim or not burn at all in one of the flash modes.
