🌈 Luxli Cello 10" RGBAW LED Light: Masterful Lighting at Your Fingertips Review

The light is great. It came with a charger that was a bit faulty and could easily stop charging, but the seller just asked the manufacturer to send me a replacement charger so I didn't even have to send the flashlight back.

I bought 3 of them. All 3 have died so far. 2 of them started humming, flickering and then denying. The third now says "amp error" and doesn't turn on the LEDs. Luxli has replaced 2 so far. I'm waiting for the third. I'll update this depending on her answer.

I really like the high quality of the goods. The colors are accurate and it's bright for its size. I use it for different situations. I can add color to my background or use it as a fill light. I've also used it to highlight the back of the hair when using green screen. It has a color that actually removes the green reflection from the green screen, making the effect perfect. We used it as the main light source with a small Fresnel LED to light up during the interview. The light output is fairly soft and bright enough for our camera/lens to expose the image well. The only criticism is that the light gets quite warm and the plastic body sometimes makes a loud bang when heated. There is usually a loud bang in the background once per interview. It really shouldn't. There's no reason why a VCR should ever make such loud noises. Otherwise I really like using it.

This flashlight has so many great features. It may seem expensive, but what it offers is hard to compare. As someone who has worked with some of the cheaper RGB LED lights, Cello has so much on the table. Most RGB lights in this price range either reduce free light output when switched to RGB mode. I added "cello" to basically be a hair/rim light as it is very light and doesn't need a massive boom to stretch 10 feet without falling off. I recently received this Luxli Cello and Diffusion Softbox. I was expecting to use it mostly for colored backgrounds, accents and maybe hair fills or highlights. The output level is very impressive and I can use it for close-up shots with the softbox. The RGBW color palette is really big. Please note that LEDs cannot produce bright yellow, but this is not a shade that I plan to use very often. The color imitation is amazing.
