Nothing special. It matches nvme that I bought. The only bad thing is that there is no way to fix it in the slot. A bad shake could probably knock him out.

Better than I thought and wanted to use a cheap internal 256gb NVME (3200 Read/960 Write, advertised) swap disk in W10. This drive in this adapter gave me published results for the adapter (PCIe 3x1) at 1/4 read speed but 86% of the advertised write speed. The second image shows the results on an older SanDisk SD7 256GB SATA SSD. I think it will work fine for my intended operation.

It's cheap, it works if you have enough PCI-E lanes. I don't have that so I had to switch to an m.2 to SATAIII adapter, both are good ways to use m.2 on an older system.
