Best take two and keep one as a spare

This is what I need to get my heavy duty 327 CI working after it burned out after wiring work without disconnecting the battery. It is better to take two and leave one in reserve.

  • Excellent overall performance

  • No performance

Exactly what we needed.

I ordered it for my husband. He always asks me to check Amazon prices for him. He said it fits in his 1973 Chevy pickup fairly easily and works great. also satisfied with the price we got especially with the first class delivery.

Don't be stupid like me

There's a reason these guys went broke. This ignition module is too fragile for a do-it-yourselfer. You need to install a ballast resistor in the system and even then any parasitic spike will burn out the device. It took me three sessions to finally understand the message. Don't be stupid like me. Get another dealer.

Super sensitive modules.

He made an electrician for the engine compartment and left the distributor connected. After saying the car won't start, according to the Mallory test on their website, I figured out the module. Replaced with this new module and the car started as before! I'm a bit disappointed with these Unilite modules, from other reviews I've seen on the web they complete very easily. I will make sure to unplug the 3 pin connector before doing any work in the future. This time I bought and installed a Mallory

Also with a surge arrester I recommend buying

. The first one I bought cost about $ 65 and served for several years. I bought this in October 2015 for $105 and it took less than a month. Even with surge protection, I recommend the purchase. Too many Mallory ignition quality problems. products recently. What happened to the company? Went back to my breakpoints and it works great. I don't know if quality aftermarket products exist. I often accept changing my glasses and leaving them out, but I can still do it if I have to. But your truckโ€ฆ

Mallory joins the bad list

My first Mallory module drove about 100 miles before it gave up the ghost. This time I'll try a new one with a built-in mains filter. I find it amazing that Mallory would sell an expensive product that is not subject to voltage spikes when the product IS PART OF A SYSTEM (DEALER) WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO GENERATE VOLTAGE SPIKES. Someone else suggested replacing it with a Pertronix device - trust me. - Avoid the plague as their rotors form invisible cracks that shorten the high voltage ignitionโ€ฆ
