    Economy in the fridge

    This product removes excess moisture and odors from my vegetable drawers in the fridge. I made my own containers by punching holes in the top of a plastic container with a lid and added this product and here we go! - quite efficient and economical.

    Also suitable as cat litter!

    Ideal for removing ammonia odor from cat litter. This + activated charcoal sprinkled into an unflavored filling works wonders! Also, I can buy much cheaper litter without all the smells, additives, etc. that can be harmful to both your kitty and you!

    Really works in cat crates!

    I ordered these ammonia neutralizing crystals to mix with the litter in our litter boxes and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised! There are many products out there that claim to neutralize odors, but this product actually does it! A few weeks ago I added a cap of fresh clumping cat litter and with regular digging every day there is still no smell! I will definitely be buying these Marineland White Diamond Ammonia Neutralizing Crystals again and would highly recommend them!

    More uses than just an aquarium

    I bought this product to deodorize carpets and it worked great. It was sprinkled on the surface of the carpet, causing a mess but absorbing odors. I think putting a good amount in a porous bag can also work and be neater. Have also used them in a tray with much better results.     Like many others, I have used this in litter boxes. I have several cats and this really helps keep the smell under control. I use it with Dr. Elsie's clumping litter and dig up the boxes about 3 times a week. The most important thing is to dig regularly so you don't end up with a box full of poop all over the house.     I filtered 125 gallons at 200 GPH, I filled a large ziplock bag 2 with a quarter cup of white diamond crystals. I took a small 3 gallon bucket and washed off the dust with reverse osmosis water without the faucet. You don't want him to start cleaning when he's not even in the tank system.     I solved my ammonia problem by giving the tank time to cycle.

    . The nitrogen cycle was constantly stopped and restarted due to high ammonia levels. I use Seachem Stability, Prime, Ammonia Guard and various API products that are similar to Seachem products. I had to change partial water several times a day to lower the ammonia levels. And by reduction I mean less than 8ppm, which is WAY too much (I know).
