Ease of installation. for clutch locks

It looks pretty strong but I think I could easily damage and remove it. It is desirable that it is made of a heavier material.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Inoperative

Doesn't fit perfectly: External accessory

It doesn't fit my new trailer as tightly/securely as my previous one. Turns from side to side. If I could figure out how to keep him from moving that would be great, he seems too loose.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Not the best

A great way to secure your trailer

The lock was a bit difficult to understand at first, but once I figured it out it's excellent. I like that both locks have the same key. I feel a lot better knowing my trailer is locked. Highly recommend this product to lock any trailer!

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Minor issues

Do you know who Ruby Goldberg was?

I bought this key specifically for my trailer for security reasons, but unfortunately it is so careless that I can easily knock it off the trailer with a hard hit with a heavy hammer. As such, I'd classify this lock as a vanity item, meant to look intimidating but actually pretty much useless. waste of money!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Damaged

Make them work for you

love the look and the ease of use. I load it on my RV because I have to park it about a quarter mile from my house along with other RVs. As far as I can tell, that should at least be a deterrent if anyone wants my trailer. None of the other caravans have tongue locks so I assume thieves are more likely to grab one of the others if they see the lock on mine. I hope I never find out.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • volume

The quality of the bolt lock is not very good.

East in use. But the safety bolt for holding the coupling bolt stopped working after just a few uses. You can no longer snatch the key. We tried Graphite non-agile. The mechanism is frozen. On an overland trip so can't return it now. And needs to be replaced. upset. The clutch lock for use when unhitched is good and works well. At least this key works fine. Just disappointed. Expected a longer lifespan from this brand.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Bad instructions

Keeping honest people honest is nothing more.

The overall design looks understated, not just great. As with every hitch lock available, it's more about keeping honest people honest, and that's about it. In particular, I bought it for a UFP A-60 clutch. The instructions show that it can be fitted to UFP hitches, but it doesn't. . The fit is very poor and difficult to assemble. It looks like it would be very easy to remove with a pry bar, I won't try as I will be returning the item. It should be noted that I only used this on the UFP port.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Updates

Poor design - sloppy fit

When packaged this clutch cover/lock looks very promising. It's strong enough and if fitted well will be a real deterrent to trailer thieves. In fact, this product fitted my powerful 2 5/16 clutch so loosely it left all sorts of holes for a pry bar or saw. . Finally, when the inner ball was fully seated and should have provided the best fit possible, the key itself would not release it. I had to crawl in to solve it and each time I got grease on my hands. The included ball lock is practically…
