Cheap. The inner plastic is of good quality. The outer paper sleeve is comfortable but thin and dry, peeling away from the inner plastic lining and starting to tear fairly easily from the weight and head movement while sleeping.

I ordered the same McKesson model 18-917 pillowcases twice and they were resilient and fitted the pillows well. But on this last order in July I received a box of poor quality flimsy paper that was torn every time I changed the pillowcase and was too small. The quality has collapsed. What happened?!

Great quality and great price. I use it to cover my dog beds to protect it and I don't have to keep changing the covers I use. I just wish they would offer to subscribe and save. It makes it more comfortable but I will order another box for massage clients to protect my pillows. I bought a box that was more expensive and they seem to be stronger!

They serve as pillowcases for exam pillows, which can be changed after a short visit. They are certainly useless for resting or as a pillowcase to touch the body of the weak or sick. They are very malleable, with a paper-thin layer of paper on the outside, making them not absorbent enough. They're almost entirely moisture wicking, so while they're a moisture barrier, it's true that they're like using regular trash bags to cover your pillow.
