Couldn't render 4K as hoped with my long setup, bought a more expensive brand to try and it worked. I was waiting to write a review so I could try another brand to make sure it wasn't my setup, it wasn't. This may work for some, but not for me. I connected a 26" HDMI to a 3" HDMI, too much for this handle.

What's the point of hiding cables in walls when you can get 4k/60/UHD/HDR through just one of them? Xbox One X crashes, reports problems with 4K over two of them, but not just one, or only cables used. After reading the same review on the many different passive models I gave up going through the panels and just went with closed panels with a nylon brush so I could run the cable directly instead.

First of all. Strange that they are upside down compared to most HDMI connectors. Besides, they do their job. My only issue is that I had to bend the back (inside the wall) to get them read correctly every time. They don't cause me any problems now that they're in place, but I was concerned that I might physically break the forks in the process. I bought a dual port wallplate on the Revain with one HDMI and one USB and the HDMI didn't work so I bought it instead. This one is way better. First of all both connectors work, they have a really great metal receiver to hold the panel to the wall (but I used a standard back box anyway) and the screws fit to finish the job. Until I manage to hook up HDMI I'll update if I do but I'll immediately deduct a star for a poor fit with normal covers (I bought a Leviton double cover). Compared to the included case, it's so tight it almost doesn't fit, and it's even harder to line up properly.
