Melitta Basket Filter Paper Natural Review

I've been told that the permanent gold filter allows more oil into the coffee which strengthens the body and tastes better than paper filters. although i have a pretty good taste for good coffee, i see no difference between those great paper filters and a permanent gold filter. There's no off-paper taste, and they're pretty rigid too. They are now on my regular shopping list.

Whatever the manufacturers say, I find that using just the wire basket that comes with the drip coffee usually results in a fine grind at the bottom of the carafe. These paper filters solve that problem (but I have to admit I usually only make 8 cups in a 12 cup machine; if I run it at full power it could overflow according to the manufacturer). .

Great price for the number of filters you get. My coffee tasted really good with these filters. Some reviewers have said these filters are too flimsy, but my wife and I make 8 cups of coffee each day and I've never had a filter break while cleaning the filter basket. I would have preferred to get an even more natural brown coffee filter like the If You Care brand, but at this price point I couldn't turn down the deal.
