☕ Melitta FBA USA Inc 626412#6 Natural Brown Cone Coffee Filters, 40-Count (Pack of 4) Review

We use an electric jug (or campervan kettle) and a Melitta filter funnel to make coffee right in a thermos. Unlike K-Cups, which require energy and produce waste, or a French Press, which makes you fat, this is a simple system. We compost the soil so the only waste is paper filters.

I really like these filters #6. The double seams do not open during use and the filters are positioned higher than the stainless steel filter, so wet coffee grounds don't spill overboard. Another Revain brand has a single seam and opens up in small areas with use. Stay with Melitta.

Surprisingly hard to find these large filters in our local supermarket. I use them to filter coffee when making a cold drink (a lot). It's simple: 1/3 cup of coffee in a mason jar filled with water (we use spring water). Flip a few times, refrigerate overnight, strain and voila! So good I had to start making this semi-cafe or I was all ringing and nervous.
