Fits perfectly on a 2000 Honda Civic sedan.

I bought this wiring harness to install a replacement car stereo in a friend's 2000 Honda Civic sedan. Metra comes in a plastic bag with the insulating ends of each cable pre-cut so you can immediately remove the lugs and be ready for connection. The wire gauge is pretty good and the internal wiring is copper. There is a chart on the bag showing how color correlation works and it was very clear. The only confusion during the process was the dimming cable, the definition of which didn't seem to…

Perfect fit for 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara

Bought for my 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara. To install, I soldered the wires to the wiring harness that came with my BOSS Audio BV9364B BOSS Audio BV9364B In-Dash Double-Din 6.2" DVD/CD/USB/SD Touchscreen/MP4/MP3 Player Bluetooth Receiver Bluetooth Streaming hands-free kit came with remote control. The BOSS harness wires matched the color of the Metra harness exactly, making soldering the wires quick, easy and painless. The wire designation (ACC 12V, DC 12V, Ground, Left front speaker, right rear…

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Guard

This plugged easily into the factory wiring harness on my 2006 Honda Pilot (although one connector pin was bent the first time) and had enough cables to connect a Soundstream VR-622HB DVD receiver/stereo receiver. The exposed ends of the wire (protected by a piece of coating that needs to be removed first) were a bit short for my liking, but they worked. I also had to unplug the wiring harness a couple of times, which proved difficult by hand (I recommend a regular screwdriver or pliers). Also,

Essential for replacing your radio!

Perfect match for my 2003 Honda Civic LX. If you are replacing your radio, you NEED this wire harness to actually connect the new radio to the wires that connect to the factory radio. However, you will need to solder or crimp the bare wires from this harness to the bare wires on your new radio (I soldered these, crimping works too and takes a lot less skill). When soldering, use shrink tubing to protect the exposed wires. It's also a good idea to tie the entire bundle together, as this will…

Perfect fit for 2008 Honda Pilot EX-L

I used this to install a Kenwood DDX9704S into our 2008 Honda Pilot EX-L. It works great and seems well put together. Please note you will also need this antenna cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K4YOCGI Connect all the wires from this harness to the corresponding wires on the stereo except the blue one. I wasn't sure what to do with it, but it doesn't seem necessary. However, I connected the blue wire of the antenna cable to the antenna control cable on my stereo. It feeds the…

Look no further and add it to your shopping cart!

I bought an aftermarket unit for my '99 Honda Civic and needed a seat belt for work. I knew I wouldn't look further than the Metra since they used to be handy. Instructions were clearly marked on the bag. , I checked to see if they were correct with other sources just to be sure and they were. Installation was very easy, with a couple of 16g butt connectors and some tape. The ends are precut so all you have to do is remove the shielding. The wires are long enough in case you get tangled and…
