THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA REAR SPEAKERS

Two of them worked fine with the front speakers in my 2009 Toyota Corolla but not at all with the rear speakers. The rear speakers have a completely different wiring harness, so the wiring harnesses had to be cut and soldered to the factory wires.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Reliability

Exactly what I needed.

Worked great, the speaker terminals were a bit off, the large connector should have been on the negative side and the positive connector should have been the smaller one but only one was like that for some reason, could be speakers, that I have used. I installed them on a 2018 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Negative impression

Subaru Crosstrek: Speaker Wiring Harnesses

Fits my 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. Connects to the wiring harness and then to the speakers. A scoop small and a regular size, the other end is a plug on the adapter. I used this with Kicker 41DSC654. Works great in place of a $400 upgrade from the factory speakers from the dealer. Bad reviews come from people who don't do research.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not the best

Warning! Not suitable for Toyota Tacoma 1995.5-2001.

This is not a blow to the product. Metra makes good adapters, however the Metra, Revain and Crutchfield website incorrectly lists this pair as fitting Toyota '1987-up'. What you really need is the 71-042C model, which is hard to find. Check out the photos of the connectors and compare them to yours before you buy! I think everyone else lists it wrong because Meter has it wrong.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Transparency

This is 72-8104 socket. in is also a "female" type. Not only is this NOT the right part, the Metra website is wrong which I checked before ordering. Now I have to put everything back together and come up with something else. The seller delivered it to me quickly and in perfect condition which is the only positive thing about this purchase. Installation would be easy if they fit. it would be good value for money if they matched. Instructions would be nice if they would fit.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

YES, they fit Subaru!

They fit my 2012 Subaru Impreza. So simple and beautiful. In my last car I upgraded speakers that I had to physically wire up and this time I didn't want to spend 4 hours in my car doing ridiculous work. To upgrade my speakers I would have to use the eye and attach the wires or do what I have done before. "I didn't have it. I ordered these for 4 speakers which I have upgraded - $13 is the REAL price. Snapped right in, sounds great, and I don't have to worry about connecting plus to minus. (I'm…

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Not bad

Oops, wrong connection. Still using them

I somehow tricked them into thinking they would fit my new car speakers. Nonetheless, they proved useful. The quick disconnects for the speaker mounts made installation easy, I just plugged in the factory plugs. Color-matched wires ensured I had no trouble seeing + or - connections. Turns out I still couldn't use the quick connectors on the tailgate speakers as they connected directly to a proprietary wiring harness, so I just adjusted the back to form a straight line for easy replacement…

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Nothing here
