Of course, the lid protects against dust, but it also looks good. It's well made and really a perfect fit. The fabric is strong with enough structure not to sag even though the printer is 2 inches lower on the right side. I'm happy with that.

I'm glad I didn't go for the cheaper option. The quality and fit are perfect and it's not an eyesore in my office. Made in 🇺🇸 is a big plus and came quickly. Yes, it's a little pricey, but it should last the life of the printer.

The Ozarks get pretty dusty out in the country so a printer cover is a must unless you plan on cleaning the printer's internal mechanisms on a weekly basis. Not a very active user but have flipped through a few oodles of paper so far. The printer got stuck once. I don't know why, it's just paper stuck in the paper path.
