More than you'll ever need

I only needed a screw and maybe a riser but wasn't sure of the size. So you can be sure that you will get the right one! Turns out I only needed one screw, but I think it's better to be safe than sorry. I have plenty more if I ever need lol. Very small screwdrivers never hurt.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • No instructions

Worked great for internals

I bought my first m.2 SSD for my PC. I didn't know that the SSD doesn't have a screw (and stand), I would have to install one, so I had to buy one. I don't know if that was the best or cheapest solution, I was in a hurry. However, it worked. Of course it's too expensive for what you get so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Have doubts

Exactly the screw I need for NVMe M.2

I was a little confused by the list of what screw I need for my motherboard. There were two options, Asus or Gigabyte. I have a Dell XPS 8930 and after a lot of research I found out that Dell uses Intel to make their mobile devices. So I tossed a coin (literally) and chose the Gigabytes option. I can't tell if the Asus screws would fit, the Gigabyte screw would work perfectly. Btw, the screw size for M.2 SHOULD be that opaque? I have a few small computer screws and none of them come close…

Pros
  • Like all so far
Cons
  • I will add later

I'm currently using it over a Samsung 870 EVO Plus NVMe m2.2 2280 1TB drive. This SSD runs HOT, especially on the case/computer I installed it on. It's a 100% passively cooled NUC-like device, with the entire body acting as a heatsink. Without the heatsink, the SSD reported temperatures ranging from 70Β°C idle to 74Β°C active at the maximum ambient temperature for the box. With the heatsink installed I'm now seeing around 67C idle and 72C active. So it helps a little. I think it would help a lot…

Pros
  • Supports an M.2 SSD 2280 length
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Great price but little value for small parts - headache

My son bought a 1TB Silcon Power SSD for an MSI motherboard and it didn't come with a mounting screw. That's why we bought this kit to fit screw parts and have a spare for future use. Some of these kits come with a magnetic screwdriver, but not this one. My fault for not paying close attention. It's just a regular screwdriver and it's very small. The mounting screws were also very small, at least compared to the standard mounting screws that came with the original motherboard inside the tower…

Pros
  • Low profile with 5mm height
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Worked as stated. But.

First I would like to say that the price-performance ratio is right. Definitely easy to install. The liability exceeded all my expectations. It was definitely stuck to my Western Digital SN 850 2280 M.2 NVME SSD used in my Playstation 5. It has now definitely prevented the SSD from getting the overheating error I had with a bare SSD. I tried to transfer 7 files/games from main system to this WDSN850 M.2 SSD. it definitely helped the performance in general. I don't have numbers, but I can…

Pros
  • Including heat-resistant silicone rings for attaching radiators
Cons
  • Very expensive
