Major laptop camera upgrade

Worked from home a lot and after adding a few monitors to my desk I no longer need the tiny laptop screen. However, the camera was gone with it. I bought this to attach to the top of a monitor. Installation was plug and play. I only had to make some minor adjustments for the specific video conferencing software I was using - Zoom, GoTo, WebEx, Teams, etc. The video quality is significantly better than the laptop's camera, and the light balance is much better. I like the lens cap. I know it has…

Good camera for today's price

We bought several of these cameras for our office staff to use in Zoom and Team meetings. At 80 degrees, the camera angle wasn't too wide for office use, and it has a built-in shutter for privacy. The mount was still a bit awkward compared to my Logitech 920 and 930 series cameras, but much better than other monitor mount cameras I've tried - the "leg" that rests on the back of the monitor, is a big difference, especially if you install many different models in your office. I found the color…

Even then I was ready to give it back.

This webcam is definitely a much better quality than the one that comes with my new HP laptop. He is sharp and clear. BUT when I tried to record I had a lot of flickering and the webcam (unlike Logitech cameras) comes with no software and the windows camera app almost doesn't work. I figured I'd have to go back and wait for more Logitech cameras to stock. But I decided to check the technical support on the Nexigo website first. Where I found a recommendation to use the free Debut Video…

Good Quality HD 1080P Webcam

I needed a webcam for video conferencing because the camera on my laptop was causing some problems as I also have dual monitors. Many companies are sold out and after some research I came across Nexigo. A real company with a customer service department and a phone number. I tried different manufacturers, returned a different one and kept this new model for myself. It's easy to set up - plug and play and it works as described. It comes with a mini tripod and also has a built in safety shutter…

Great webcam. and it will be delivered before 2025

I do not write reviews. at least). I cannot comment on my results. An American company (America First and, perhaps more importantly, who wants to bring money for Winnie the Pooh minions to spy on them in their house?), and ALL I get are compliments on the quality of the photo from co-workers. I've only been in a cell for 4 days but from where I'm sitting THIS is a safe buy. Bravo NexiPC Note: I can't say anything about the microphone. I regularly brief senior government officials and get…

Auto focus fails on audio/video accessories

I must have gotten a bad one. I received a second one from the warehouse with damaged packaging, but the webcam itself was in pristine condition. Pros: + The color was great. + The camera design felt solid, but the base hinge was a little loose and very easy to unintentionally adjust. Cons: - The cable is only 5 feet long and barely reaches my tiny desk. You may need an extension cord if you have a large computer on the floor and a large standing desk. The privacy shutter is a good idea, but…

Great for an inexpensive webcam

So far so good. Easy to set up - just plug in the USB port and launch the conferencing software. Good stream quality when calling to others, even on 720. Focus seems fine. The windows give me bright side and back light even with the blinds closed, so I show how it's partly in the shadows. The camera software simply cannot cope with the lighting conditions. I prefer an 80 degree field of view - 120's would be too wide. Still, I pull the monitor 2-3 feet away from me to limit what's showing in…

Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
