Reliable good quality.

I had to leave my Sprinter at a relative's for a week. I forgot my adapter. I delivered it the next day and hooked it up to her house. It kept my batteries charged and the fridge running.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Clarity

Poor grounding

Poor grounding caused my RV's body and frame to be stressed. Swapped this adapter for another one and the problem was gone. I do not recommend this product, in this case it was extremely dangerous.

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Decent product but distorted color (yellow not orange)

This product works adequately but the color of the cable in the photos is distorted. The cable in the photos is orange, but the cable I received is yellow. Please update the list.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Temporary use only - and we had Yellow not Orange

I didn't like the 'temporary use only' warning which wasn't mentioned in the product description. Also, our item was yellow, not orange. Did the factory run out of orange paint that day?

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Big and bulky

It's good if you're in a bind.

Works great and seems very solid. Just be careful not to try to get more power than advertised. Plugging a 15 amp outlet into a 30 amp van is useful if that's all you need to plug in, but you must be careful not to overload it as it can cause overheating, melting or damage, if you're passing a lot of amps... your technique. This is not the fault of this product, in particular drawing more current through a cord or plug than specified can cause damage, regardless of brand.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Hard to say

Best major update among tools and gadgets

This was a major update for us. We used to have a very small adapter about 3 inches long. There was no cord between man and woman. When we plugged our trailer into a generator or camping power supply, the weight of the cord pulled the plug enough to disconnect. We'd need something to squeeze under the cable to keep it level so we have power. Finally we can plug in this new adapter and not have to worry. Now that we leave the dogs in the trailer I don't have to worry about the plug being…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • No
