They look great for chargers and power supplies

they are exactly what I wanted, a bit more than I expected in my head but that's not the company's fault. They fit perfectly in my truck for all my lights that can't be turned on while driving

I like it while it lasts

I like it while it lasts. I wish the mounting tabs and holes were a bit smaller so a lot of cutting is required to fit them, there was no template so you have to cut and guess.

You may need to widen the expansion slot with a rasp.

This charger is easy to install and works quite well. I plugged it in to keep it hot all the time and in two months the battery in my Gator hasn't died. Continues to work well when wet from rain. The backlight is strong and visible in direct sunlight.

Will my phone charge? Yes, but

Very slowly. My phone is usually charged via the wall charger and it takes about 2 hours to charge from 10% to 100%. When I use this charger in the car on the way to college, it lasts 40-50 minutes, my phone battery is only 10% charged. I don't think these USB ports are true 3.1 amps. I will try charging other phones. to see how it goes, but 2 stars for now

Other switches fit in the same hole. Broken upon receipt.

Slightly too big for the standard switch hole (the hole was sheet steel - even after a little grinding it still didn't fit. Other switches fit exactly in the same hole. broke) trying it maybe find a job with a little more modification but in the end it was a total loss for me.

I was extremely disappointed as Mictuning products are usually rated A1 or higher.

The faceplate was a little loose when I first took it out of the box. But since I've never had this before, I wasn't sure if it's right or not. Turns out it shouldn't be as the front end fell off completely during installation into the switch mount on my dash. Very poorly made, I was extremely disappointed because Mictuning products are mostly A1 quality or better.

This is a pretty cool product if you're looking to add USB ports.

Update: Died after two years. First the LEDs flashed and then the charging process was aborted. It was on all the time the car was on the road as it was plugged into the cigarette lighter so I had at least 10,000 hours on it. Not bad for $10. I will order a replacement. This is a pretty cool product if you're looking to add USB ports to your car. I installed it on my 2000 Ford Explorer and used the hole that was already in the dash. I don't have automatic climate control so I was able to useโ€ฆ
