Description of Mirka 18-Pack 118-447 Assorted Sanding Discs, 2-Inch and 9-Inch

Mirlon Total is designed for fine sanding and pre-finishing steps. Mirlon Total is extremely aggressive, although it is thinner, more open and flexible than standard non woven products. The thin open structure of Mirlon Total increases conformity of finishing intricate details. 4 1/2-Inch by 9-Inch pads are available in following grits P360 red, P1500 grey and P2500 gold.

Not Worth Your Time and Money

After I put it to the test, I was sorely disappointed with its performance. It did not deliver even the most basic functionality I was expecting from it. The only positive thing I could point out is that it looks good on paper but it failed to give the expected results. The cons? It's too expensive for a product that doesn't work and it's a complete waste of time.

Pros
  • Durable and high-quality sanding discs.
Cons
  • I do not remember

Really good pads

I'm only 20 years old and have been in body repair for about 6 years. These are the best wipes I have ever used! They remove shine quickly and easily.

Pros
  • Mirlon Total for fine sanding and tread precoating
Cons
  • Something different

expensive but great Odie's Oil and Wood Oil applicators

I wanted to try Odie's Oil and Wood Butter. They recommended these application sheets, so I bought this box to try. They work well, although I've found them easier to apply if I cut them into strips. I use them for both stationary applications and lathes when turning at low speeds. They wear out with prolonged use, so I just cut that part off and then use it until I reach the end of the strip. .

Pros
  • Mirlon Total is extremely aggressive although thinner, more open and flexible than traditional nonwoven products
Cons
  • High Price
