Exactly what you need

Let's face it, we're here because you're installing an aftermarket head unit, hopefully a good one! This kit contains everything you need. While the instrument panels aren't accurate, they're so close that only a trained eye will tell this isn't factory. If you want the functionality of an OEM steering wheel, you'll need an extra part and some engineering tweaks, but this kit will take care of the rest.

The 2009 Ralliart doesn't fit, I'm pissed.

To be honest, I'm really pissed off. The thing doesn't fit properly in the Ralliart 2009. It bends at the top and sticks up, doing the same with the top left and bottom left corners. To me, that's unacceptable for a $40 piece of plastic. I spent 3 hours on this and it looks awful. I was really hoping there would be an OEM Fitmit, apparently my expectations are too high. I have to live with that for now, later I'll take another set. I've already put the straps together and don't have time to…

Everything works and fits, except for the controls on the steering wheel.

I only write genuine reviews. It was an easy setup! I had no problems following the uninstall and install video tutorial. The wiring only works for the main audio, not the steering wheel controls. I would give 5 stars if that was the case. There is space left after the lid snaps into place. I would recommend buying this and making it yourself. To save money! I have 😁. When wiring, just match the colors, you'll be fine. I have an 08 GTS without a Rockford Fosgate and anything equivalent should…

Incredibly easy to install slim dash kit

Perfect fit for my 2011 Lancer ES. The Alpine ILX-W650 sits subtly flush and maintains a nice, sleek look. Incredibly easy installation requiring only 2 Phillips head screws to be removed. Seriously, this is the easiest dashboard I've ever disassembled (and I've disassembled quite a few). Everything simply snaps into place for detaching and re-inserting. Note, however, that this doesn't quite match the trim or color of the black dash. It doesn't look out of place in any way though. Still a very

It does not come with mounting hardware.

If you purchase the Metra version of this product it will come with aftermarket hardware. This product assumes you are using the pre-existing mount that comes with your vehicle, but in my case I am unable to use the standard radio mount due to the sheer size difference. My 2008 Lancer GTS with Rockford Fosgate system has a pretty bulky head unit and I upgraded to an Alpine iLX-W650 and it's very thin so the stock mounting bracket does a TERRIBLE job of aligning/positioning the new Alpine unit.

Great dashboard kit, very pretty

This is a very good dashboard kit. It looks good, goes well with my 2x DIN radio and fits *almost* perfectly - the top right corner is a little higher than it should be, but you wouldn't notice unless you looked for it. The included wiring harness was properly connected and each wire is even labeled - a nice touch! A few features of the Lancer radio wiring itself to keep in mind are not dashboard or wiring harness issues, but installation tips. Please note this is for a 2009 Lancer DE:1. There…
