Material is inferior to OEM

on my Jetta MK4 and they have been installed to date, they need to be replaced. If you need to replace the rubber support. go to the dealer!

This is for a rack. Racks are usually changed in sets. I tried to check what I'm buying but got no response. The ad must state that it is intended for one person only.

It's Monroe, what are you waiting for?

Had two posts with poorly designed top brackets. I was given a stand because that was the only issue I had trouble with. Seeing I had a problem, I went ahead and pulled another rack. Had the same problem although it's been quiet so far. I needed to get my car on the road so I ordered this one to get the job done faster. Works great, which is what I've come to expect from Monroe.

Incorrect part please read

The part pictured on 1st October 2010 IS ACTUAL 903983 (as stated on the actual part in the larger image). I ordered this part number 904905 and received a rubber mount to match the metal plate, I also ordered a Moog K90241 Macphereson Strut Mount Assembly and Monroe 904905 is EXACTLY the same part (Monroe looks and feels more premium to me) , so be careful when ordering these parts for your Audi. Revain is fantastic, he sends me a return label and ships the right parts within 2 days for freeโ€ฆ

Worked for me! good for part

I recently installed this in my 2001 VW New Beetle GLS 1.9L TDI. So far it seems to be working fine. The large rubber mount appears to be slightly larger and bulkier than the original equipment rubber mount that I removed. It fit perfectly and went in with no problems. Removing and replacing the front strut assembly is a lot of work. So when you replace your struts, grab a pair so you can replace them at the same time with no extra hassle. You don't want to have to remove the new struts laterโ€ฆ
