Fit stronger footpegs on my trailer that fold inwards. This made the outer steps obsolete. I added this toolbox for extra storage and installation was easy. The extra storage space was helpful. What I didn't like was that the tool box wasn't airtight. I raised this myself, but for some reason this price does not include waterproofing, I don't know. It is designed for outdoor use. Water resistance seems like a reasonable point. As I said, the product does what I need.

It's great to have more disk space. The box is well assembled but not sealed. To fit a Jayco fifth wheel proceed as follows: 1 Remove the original rungs, 2 Drill out the rivets and remove the ladder mechanism, 3 Cut off the bottom half of the remaining frame, 4 Reattach the top of the ladder frame reattach, 5 Hang onto the two box brackets and drill out the trailer bracket with rail brackets for the second bottom set of holes 6 Rehang the brackets using the new holes (now about 1" under 7 Mount

As others have said this unit could be almost perfect if sealed around the door. But there are holes in the bottom, so if water gets in there, it drains out. I just wish it wasn't a problem in the first place. It's well made, very easy to install, looks great when installed.
