Remote control: The APP of the Morec ev charging station is used to remotely control the charging process of the intelligent e-charging station (Android and IOS both available). You can use the app to control your wallbox via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, e.g. Monitor the charging process, set the start or the end of the charging process, determine the charging power (0-9.6KW) or charging current (0-40Amp), read charging data records and upgrade firmware, etc. Full function: Delay function (up to 24 hours). if set to 0, it means it will charge immediately and the charger will stop automatically when you car is fully charged. The charging time (up to 48 hours) and the total power consumption (up to 100kWh) can also be set up via the APP. Like an alarm clock, you can set as you want and the wallbox will be initialized according to your setting. Safety:Our charging station has CSA, CE and TUV certificates. After the first connection with the APP, the six-digit password must be changed so that it is not misused by others because a cell phone can control several charging stations via the APP. Large screen and high compatibility:LCD screen shows the charging current, charging voltage and temperature. The charging station is equipped with a 6.1m charging cable and a type 1 AC plug (SAE J1772 standard) and NEMA14-50 power plug. Residual current protection: The charging station has residual current protection of type A. The charging station is safe when charging with alternating current. If you want type B residual current protection, you can buy and install it yourself.

Works well but is expensive. The charging cable from the car to the charger gets warm, which worries me, but there is no support number for this product.

MOREC EV Charger Level 2 40 AMP

We were very excited to try these new products but one of the two packages was labeled differently (32 AMP vs 40 AMP). Correct label, it was sealed over another label which suggested it was an older version or model. So we had to send both items back to the seller. Hope someone can explain these questions.

Super EV charger, well designed, easy to install! Highly recommended.

Slim design, easy installation, very fast charging for home charger. Make sure you buy the NEMA 14-50 OUTLET as this charger only comes with the NEMA 14-50 PLUG. The photo shows the socket, but the charger is not included. That's a little misleading. Make sure you have an outlet or ask an electrician to bring one.

Level 2 fast charge

The manual is poor, it took me a while to find the in-app screen to change the default charge rate from 6.1 amps to 31 amps. So far I've only charged my Chevy Bolt once. The Bolt can charge up to 32 amps, so I conservatively set the charger to 31 amps. Worked well, charging 31.1 amps to 80% capacity then dropping to 11.9 amps. I don't use Alexa for many reasons, so I have no idea how it works with Alexa.

A must-have item for electric car owners

This charging station makes it much easier (is it possible?) to quickly charge your car at home. It's nice to have a quality charging station set up and ready to go, just like the ones you have on the go. Installation was simple and straightforward and once set up the LCD will tell you everything you need to know and make you feel like you are charging at a real station. The included hook and socket makes it easy to store the cord when not in use instead of hanging on the floor in a mess. The…
