Gauge fits electrical gear

Gauge works well perfect for my application. Fuel pressure I know is very important to get proper carburetor performance. Added regulators to adjust, now have 5, 5psi as recommended.

Pros
  • Fits 3/8" fuel hose
Cons
  • Vulgarity

I had doubts after buying this

. Well, in the beginning my thought was good. But after trying to squeeze it into my 82 El Camino fuel line, I decided I really didn't want to introduce TWO POSSIBLE gas failure points into my engine bay. Things happen and I'd rather play it safe as long as I've settled on a braided stainless steel line. I think I can get some threaded connections and another jig to accomplish my goal.

Pros
  • Anodized Gold
Cons
  • Zero

Pressure gauges in gauges

The gauge worked well, perfect for my application. I'm learning that fuel pressure is very important to get proper carburetor performance. Added regulator to adjustment, 5.5psi is now recommended.

Pros
  • Anodized gold
Cons
  • dull packaging

Incredibly cheap sensors

I am very disappointed in this product Mr. Seal (especially as they are a Mallory subsidiary)! The sensor itself seems CHEAP. For example, $5 made in China are cheap. I do not recommend anyone to buy it. Save money, buy yourself something decent.

Pros
  • Integrated fuel block
Cons
  • Not sure

The caliber looks very cheap!

7/16/15 - The sensor looks very cheap mounted on the fuel line to the carburetor on my hot rod. I use a Walbro electronically controlled piston fuel pump that only pumps when the pressure drops and gives a pulsating output. This fuel gauge constantly jumps between 6 and 8 psi. I don't think it will hold up under these conditions. I will update with the latest update. 2/3/17: Still runs well even with pulsating fuel pressure. It seems better built than I thought it would be.

Pros
  • Clean and easy install
Cons
  • Not bad but...

great when it works: Gauges

I got a Weber for my Mazda B2200 and installed it to throttle the electric fuel pump. The first one I got left "no" gas regardless of the setting. I sent it back, got another one (and this time with a pressure gauge) and it was off on the pressure setting at about +3psi. So I got one from a local store which was cheaper than shipping it back, it works fine (at 0.5psi) and after a year I've had no problems. Guess that's the triple charm. My 2 cents, buy this locally, it might cost a few bucks…

Pros
  • Installation Type: Vehicle Specific
Cons
  • Concise Instructions
