Know the hot engine during operation.

Love this cap, it lets me know how hot the engine is when I'm working under the hood and working on the engine while it's running.

It is very accurate

Nothing to like. Does what it's supposed to and does it well. Temperature readings are accurate. They are actually more accurate than the ECM readings I get from an OBD reader.

Easy way to measure radiator water temperature

For years I thought my classic car was getting hot by the temperature gauge. After replacing everything related to my engine overheating, this cover found that my temp sensor was giving incorrect readings. Could have saved time and money if I had thought about purchasing this product first!

Mine was difficult to install, inaccurate at first, but seems reliable and consistent now.

Fixed performance issues on modded vehicles with overheating issues. This allows me to track the temperature more closely. It was very difficult to install and didn't seem to read accurately with it during the first disc. Now it looks accurate and consistent. We've solved most of the car's overheating issues, but I like the additional info for reference.

CHEAP THERMOCAP! BREAKS AFTER 4 HOURS AFTER INSTALLATION.

Very cheap, waste of money! Thermocap installed, everything went very easy. Driven about 2 hours, I let the car cool down for about 2 hours, tried opening the lid and it just hisses. As I searched for holes to guide him. The lower part of the cover remained in the radiator! It was a pain in the back to remove without damaging my radiator. Why do people sell cheap goods? (Do not buy)
