Good idea, but there is a quality problem. The parts to be soldered are held by two pairs of pins. This works great as long as each pin is held securely in place (they move apart and then reattach to "grab" the part being soldered. About the third time I used it one came loose of the pens, so unless I find a way to fix this, Mr. Grippy won't work.
